30 Days of Creativity

I was going through all the blogs I follow on google read this morning, and something caught my eye (thanks Chris!)...a challenge to create something everyday for 30 days in the month of June.  I asked myself if this is something I could handle.  I admit, I'm lazy and a procrastinator and really the only time I ever 'create' is when I need a gift for someone or a party coming up.  When I think about creativity, I only think about sewing or scrapbooking, things like that.  So I looked up the meaning of creativity and I liked this one the best:
Creativity is when a person creates something new (a product, a solution, a work of art etc.) that has some kind of value. What counts as "new" may be in reference to the individual creator, or to the society or domain within which the novelty occurs. What counts as "valuable" is similarly defined in a variety of ways.

I went on over to the 30 Days of Creativity blog.  30 Days of Creativity is described as a social initiative encouraging people to create stuff (anything) every day for 30 days in June.  I think I can handle that!  So I decided to take on this initiative and we'll see how it goes.  Check back to see how I spend the next 30 days creating.

Before the whole 30 days starts, a warm-up exercise was given.  And here it is (don't laugh!).  It's my picture with a thought bubble.  In the thought bubble, I put the words that I think make me creative and most likely the areas that I will be using to complete the 30-day initiative.

I love it! So much more awesome than my lame excuse of an answer to that pre-create. :D
